February is the month that a blog was born! Friends, it has now been 1 year since Just One Passport came to life, and what an incredible journey it has been! Travelling the world solo, just one step at a time.

I began this journey because of my passion for travel and adventure. Travel is so much a part of my life, and a part of who I am, that I wanted to share my experiences and what I have learned with others. I know so many people who have missed out on fulfilling their dreams and have let life just pass them by. I wanted to show these people that there are other options available to them. I am living proof. Solo travel is the bomb!

Solo travel is just as rewarding, if not more so, than travelling with a companion. The benefits are endless. Sooooo at the encouragement of my daughters, Just One Passport was born.

I am not a professional blogger, nor am I a professional traveller or photographer. I am just a girl who has an endless thurst and passion for travel, adventures and learning and experiencing new things. I work full-time in the legal profession, and I am lucky enough to say this supports my love of travel 6 weeks of the year.
“The pleasure we derive from journeys is perhaps dependent more on the mindset with which we travel than on the destination we travel to” – Alain de Botton

During the last year, Just One Passport has travelled to Alaska, Vancouver British Columbia, Seattle, Washington, Banff, Alberta, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, and Kelowna, British Columbia, not to mention numerous road trips and adventures throughout my home Province of Ontario.

Throughout this post are the most popular photos of my travels and adventures as Just One Passport.

Through all of my adventures and travels, it has continued to be my mission to inspire and encourage people to get out and live their best life, whether it be by solo travel or otherwise. I am proof that it is never too late to get busy living!

When I began this journey a year ago, in my wildest dreams I would have never imagined that i would be fortunate enough to meet so many fantastic and supportive fellow travellers and adventure seekers, albeit virtually.
“Go, fly, roam, travel, voyage, explore, journey, discover, adventure”

I cherish and I am thankful beyond words for each and every one of you. I am so excited to continue to share all of our journeys and adventures for another year. Let us never cease to inspire others!
Love and Thank You to All!!!!
