We as women spend so much time caring for others, whether it be our spouse, kids, grandkids, parents or employers, that it is time to stop playing tug-of-war and start taking care of the most important person.  Ourselves!  We have to start setting time aside for us.  Whether it be a few hours, a day or even a week, set time aside and take yourself on a date. Alone!

Take yourself on a date and pamper yourself with one of these many solo date ideas. You deserve it!

Take Yourself on a Date and Enjoy Some Alone Time

It is so important for us women to take some time out of our busy lives and focus on us. It doesn’t have to cost a fortune (we will keep that for our travels), as long as you carve out some time to spend pampering yourself.  If we don’t take care of ourselves, we sure as heck won’t be any good to anybody else.

“Nurture yourself, and then proceed in taking care of others”

Benefit of Going on a Solo Date

I get it. The thought of going on a solo date might be intimidating for some women, especially women who aren’t use to spending time alone. In addition to pampering yourself and thinking about only you, solo dating may help you to overcome securities and will help you to gain confidence.

Spending time alone will teach us to love ourselves. Afterall, we have to be happy in our own skin before we can be happy in a relationship.

It is important to care for yourself before caring for others. Take yourself on a date and blow some steam off at the gym.

Solo Date Ideas

I know that taking yourself on a date might be a completely new concept to many of you. In fact, I bet most of you might not even know where to begin.  I have become seasoned pro at doing many things alone and I have you covered with just a little bit of inspiration!

Whether you are single or married and especially if you have children, it is imperative for your mental health to make some “me” time. What better way to do that than to take yourself on a date?

Did you know that more than one-third of single Britons regularly take themselves out on a solo date. They call it “masturdating”

The date doesn’t have to cost a lot of money, in fact some of my best solo dates haven’t cost me a dime. The idea is to just get out and do something that YOU enjoy. If you don’t feel like going out alone, you can even take yourself on a date while staying at home.

Are you needing some date inspiration?

Do you need some inspiration for solo date ideas? You can start with these simple date ideas. When considering what dates to do solo, sky is the limit. The more creative you are, the better the date will be.

Where did you go on your solo date?

There you have it ladies!  It’s as easy as that!  If I have over-whelmed you with options, a fun thing to do is to write your date ideas on a piece of paper and then put the paper in a jar.  Pick one date out of the jar at least once a month.

Ultimately it doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you take the time to pamper yourself every once in awhile and take yourself out a date.

If you feel like taking yourself on the ultimate date, pamper yourself with a day at the spa.

Don’t forget to grab your very own cute free Checklist  to check off each time you take yourself on a date.
