Sofitel in Moorea was much more cozy and laid back, while Pearl in Bora Bora was very upscale and relaxing. I loved them both and it would have to come to a toss up in order for me to choose.

MY WINNER: I’ll be completely honest. I wasn’t the least bit interested in shopping, however, I did purchase a hand painted dress in Moorea.
Just One Tip: If you’re shopping for black pearls, I recommend the duty free shop at the Tahiti airport. The sales people were very patient, helpful and friendly.
