It has been close to one year since I first wrote about the power of grief travel. Unfortunately, I have found myself seeking solace in grief travel once again. This time the term grief travel has a much more profound meaning to me than it did the last time.
When many people think of Canada and Ontario, the first thought that enters their mind is snow, cold and ice. No we don’t live in igloos! You may be surprised to learn that our summer months get as high as 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), and often even higher.
Are planning a trip to Collingwood or Blue Mountains in Ontario? I can guarantee that you will be over-whelmed with the hotel, resort and accommodation choices available to you. I can also guarantee that if you don’t make reservations to stay in this area far in advance, you will have a limited choice of where to stay.

It is absolutely impossible to visit Ontario without exploring some of its small towns! I agree that there are many tourist towns and areas where you can be one of the crowd, but exploring the small towns of Ontario which are located off the beaten path are much more fun and rewarding.
