Pearl Resort in Bora Bora is one resort which does offer some inclusions…for a price. Guests can add the option of breakfast included, or breakfast and dinner includes, which will be reflected in the price you pay.

I booked my package through GoWay Travel, and breakfast was included in the package purchased. The resort provided a buffet breakfast with every type of breakfast food imaginable. I found after eating breakfast, I only ate one other meal throughout the day.

It is important to remember that food and beverages in French Polynesia are extremely expensive. Do your research to choose the package that suits your culinary needs.

I want to visit here!! Those pictures of the terrace from the room are unbelievable. Le Bora Bora seems like the quintessential place to relax and unwind! Hopefully one day I’ll make it out to explore this place :). The water doesn’t even look real haha must be amazing for snorkeling.

Your enthusiasm for Bora Bora is infectious! It’s really good to know that as well as being a fabulous place to stay, with exemplary customer service, the resort has such a strong focus on sustainability and eco-friendliness. We would be very keen to taste traditional Polynesian cuisine, especially as the ingredients are locally sourced. It’s also great to know about the activities – we’d really enjoy the water sports as well as use the shuttle service to Vaitape to explore the town as well.

The photos here are beautiful and really bring out everything you comment on in teh post about teh island and resort.
It all just looks so peaceful and relaxing and that turquoise water is just inviting. I’m not a big beach and sea person but I can see myself indulging in the beauty of it all here.
Lots of great info on everything too.
Luckily I speak French so hopefully there would be less of a communication issue here for me.

I LOVE the beach, but I wouldn’t be able to stay at the resort for more than a day at a time. I was glad that I had booked some excursions so I could see the island. Lucky you speaking French. I wish I had listened more when I was in school lol.

  6. Melanie

Well this resort looks lovely. I would love to do some snorkelling and paddle boarding on that gorgeous turquoise water. What made you choose this resort? Is it possible to get there by boat? Thanks for the overview!

You can only access it by boat, however, there was no marina. Only for the boat that belongs to the resort. I’m not sure where the public marina is. This resort was included with the package we purchased from GoWay. All of the resorts on the island are top notch

Again you have provided a wonderful post and in-depth on a luxurious place which I now want to visit! It looks like they will take care of everything for you. My favourite part I imagine would be the pristine beaches – my favourite! Also nice to know its possible to get a work out in if I felt like it.

hahaha….you had to ask….I was there in “off-season”. The last week of March until April 2nd. $1200 US/night 😦 It was a once in a lifetime and a dream since I was a little girl. I would NEVER spend that anywhere else.

  8. Emma

It would have to be an over water bungalow all the way with me. But how would you drag yourself from staring down through the glass at the stunning turquoise water. Good tip about where to sit on the plane – I would absolutely want to maximize my viewing for Bora Bora. Sounds like the most amazing place to visit and stay

Ok now I feel like crossing the world just to be able to experience this accommodation!
Bora Bora is a paradise on earth and I can imagine myself on that balcony relaxing and having a cocktail 🙂
I guess the stay is not exactly cheap and adding meals makes the experience more expensive, but it must be worth it, if only once in a lifetime.

What a magnificent view, and I love the beach bag! Such a cool idea, as well as the reusable bottle.

Wonderful review, Kelly. This hotel looks like my cup of tea, and Bora Bora definitely is! I’d love to chill out in the ocean all day.

Is that a cheeky Pina Colada I can spot?

That is exactly how I want my Bora Bora vacation to look and feel. Maybe for our 15-year anniversary trip. That’s incredible – the views, the food the drinks. It looks like a dream trip.

Another gorgeous accommodation in the French Polynesia islands, I love it! This would be the kind of hotel resort I would choose, a nice water bungalow with private access and generous rooms. Totally worth crossing half of the globe to stay here and unplug from life. I like that you stayed in different resorts throughout your trip and have shown us a nice selection of hotels in the FP islands. Looking forward to your next post.
