When you enter the Pepper Tree  Spice Co., How could you not help but to fall in love with this store with the aroma of baked bread and freshly ground spices filling the air.

Pepper Tree Spice Co. – A Little Bit of History

Pepper Tree Spice Co. is located along the shores of Lake Erie in the Town of Port Stanley, Ontario.  It was founded by Debbie Kussmann in 2010 and restaurant kitchens across Canada have now become home to many of her spices.

Pepper Tree Spice Co. – The Store

Just a short 2 second walk off of the main street in a quaint little building located at 223A Colborne Street, you will stumble upon a treasure trove of organic spices.  With over 300 organic and natural spices to choose from, all of which are made with love right in the store, you will have no trouble finding what you are looking for, and even something that you aren’t looking for.

It is more than likely that you will find the amount of spices in this store a little overwhelming. Debbie is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her product and will answer any questions that you might have.  Pepper Tree Spic Co. offers more than just spices.  You will also find a a plethora of various oils of all smells and tastes lining the shelves of the store.

If you fall in love the with this store as much as I did, you might want to think about signing up for one of the cooking classes to learn how to use some of the various spices.  Each class is different, so take a gander at the website to see what’s cooking.  If you are unable to visit this little gem, not to worry, you can order all of the products online and it will be shipped right to your door.

Whether you cook or not, the Pepper Tree Spice Co. is a store well worth the visit and Debbie will make you feel right at home.  I know that I will be back again next time I am in the area!

Well folks I’m off again to see what other goodies I can find in my own backyard….until next time….
