Ugggg…..it’s meal time again! Many solo travellers find that the worst part of travelling alone arrives at meal times. I am also included in this category. While eating alone, or even just the thought of eating alone, can be scary to some solo travellers, it doesn’t have to be.
Okay, all of you single ladies out there……and not so single ladies. It’s time to take yourself on a date (sorry fellas)!
Does anybody else get as excited about a road trip other than me? It is one of my favourite things to do and boy did I just complete my best one yet!
What better place to spend a weekend than in Banff, Alberta, Canada? Is two days enough time to see the Rocky Mountains? It was literally heaven on earth and two days just wasn’t enough time! So the answer is NO, but since two days was was all that I had, I was determined to experience as much as I could.
There has been a sudden rise in the solo travel industry in recent years, especially among women. Whether you are single or married, I highly recommend taking that solo trip at least once in your lifetime. Women especially need that time to decompress, refocus, re-energize and just simply let loose. Yes, I can guarantee that you will experience some good, some bad, and some ugly, but don’t let that stop you!
With the cruise season right around the corner, I have no doubt that the excitement for your first cruise is building. It is time to begin your research! When I think back to my very first cruise almost 20 years ago now, I wish that someone had told me what cruise essentials should be packed into my carry-on.
